Our vertical wind turbine system with blades automatically adjust its windward side has been awarded many Chinese patents. Two of the patents have been granted "The most valuable projects worth of investment in 2009" by the Chinese Social Survey Bureau. Meanwhile, these two patents are edited to the "China Business Guide to High tech" and the "The Chapter of Creation of China Expo Carnival". Our patents have passed the application of international PCT and we have applied for European and US patents.

For 3kw or less HAWT, the cut-in wind speed is at 3m/s, while for 3kw to 50kw, then is 5m/s. Annual wind power utilization in a general wind field is 50%, a better wind field is around 70%. Most of the HAWT is in a rest status.

For ordinary VAWT up to 50kw, the cut-in wind speed is at 2.7m/s, and the annual wind power utilization is around 70% to 80%.

For Fanhong designed VAWT up to 50 Kw, it can start up at the wind speed 1.8m/s and the annual wind power utilization is above 90%.

Product Features:

1. Blade can be automatically regulate its windward side. When the wind speed is at 1.8m/s, our VAWT can be start-up, which Maximize the wind power efficiency and reduce the wind turbine facility idling. This is better than other wind turbine.

2.   The blade is concave curved, which can catch the wind to a maximal degree, thus make full use of wind energy resource.

3. Blade can be automatically regulate its windward side. Windward side ascertained is traced by sensor of dogvane.

4. When it is in stormy weather, anemometer can change the windward angle by wind sensor, thus get a constant rotating speed.

5. Damping protection device, when there is stormy wind, the back side of the blade; the hydraulic retractable spear automatically shrinks itself to make windward side change its angle to face to the wind, thus reduce the windward area.

6. By the use of hydraulic system, we can erect the tower of the wind turbine or turn it down, thus is convenient for our daily maintenance.

Fanhong's VAWT use PMG (permanent magnetic Generator) and the patented technology of automatic regulation of blade's angle toward the windward side. Start-up with breeze , noiseless wind turbine, which can be used in any area far away from electrical supply or irregular power supply area. Can form wind solar hybrid system with solar panels, and also can be used as on-grid system.

The Yawing Protection System

Voltage Protection------can set voltage protection parameters freely, automatically adjust the angle of yawing according to the voltage of the generator and set parameters, the angle of yawing can be 45°or 90°.   

Wind Speed Protection------can set wind speed protection parameters freely, automatically adjust the angle of yawing according to the on-site wind speed and set parameters, the angle of yawing can be 45°or 90°.

Current Protection-----can set current protection parameters freely, automatically adjust the angle of yawing according to the current of the generator and set parameters, the angle of yawing can be 45°or 90°.

Rotating Speed Protection-----can set rotating speed protection parameters freely, automatically adjust the angle of yawing according to the rotating speed of the generator and set parameters, the angle of yawing can be 45°or 90°.

Diverter Protection System

Diverter Protection----used to avoid the excessive charging of the batteries and release the redundant electricity, thus protect the whole system.
